3. Cable Sheath Granules Features and uses

This series of products have excellent weather resistance, termite resistance, environmental stress crack resistance and extrusion processability. It can be used for cross-linked cables, optical cables, submarine cables and other cable sheaths that require high mechanical properties and wear resistance of the sheath.

4. Extrusion process

If the product has a long storage period, it must be dried before use, and it is recommended to use blast drying. The drying temperature is 70-80 ℃, and the drying time is at least 2 hours. It can be extruded with a L/D25 single-screw extruder. It is advisable to enter the extruder. It is recommended to add one or two layers of 40 mesh filters to the machine head.
